How We Use Your Information
Story Generation
When you scan a drawing, the image is sent to our AI service provider (xAI) to generate a personalized story. The image is:
- Processed in real-time
- Not permanently stored on external servers
- Not used to train AI models
- Not shared with third parties
Local Storage
All personal data (child profiles, stories, favorites) is stored locally on your device using Apple’s secure storage. This data:
- Never leaves your device
- Is not uploaded to our servers
- Is not accessible to us
- Can be deleted by uninstalling the app
Analytics
We may collect anonymized usage analytics to improve the app. This data:
- Contains no personal information
- Cannot identify individual users
- Is used solely to improve app performance
Third-Party Services
xAI (Story Generation)
We use xAI’s API to analyze drawings and generate stories. Images sent to xAI are processed according to their privacy policy. xAI does not store images after processing.
Apple (Subscriptions)

EraX is designed for families with children. We take children’s privacy seriously:

- Child names and ages are stored only on your device
- Drawings are processed but not stored externally
