1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using EraX (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
EraX is a mobile application that:
- Scans children’s drawings using your device camera
- Uses AI to analyze drawings and generate personalized stories
- Provides text-to-speech narration
- Stores stories locally on your device
3. User Eligibility
- The App is intended for use by adults (18+) on behalf of children
- You must have legal authority to agree to these Terms
- You are responsible for supervising children’s use of the App
4. Account and Subscriptions
Free Tier
- Limited to 3 stories per month
- Basic features included
EraX Pro Subscription
- Unlimited story generation
- PDF export functionality
- All narration voices
- Subscription pricing and terms displayed in the App
Subscription Terms
- Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled 24 hours before the renewal date
- Manage subscriptions in your device’s Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions
- No refunds for partial subscription periods
5. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Scan inappropriate, offensive, or harmful images
- Attempt to circumvent subscription restrictions
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App
- Use the App to generate inappropriate content
- Misrepresent the App’s output as human-created content
6. Content Guidelines
Your Content
- You retain ownership of drawings you scan
- You grant us a limited license to process images for story generation
- You are responsible for ensuring drawings are appropriate
Generated Content
- Stories are generated by AI and may vary in quality
- We do not guarantee accuracy, appropriateness, or suitability
- Review all content before sharing with children
- Generated stories are for personal, non-commercial use
7. Intellectual Property
Our Property
- The App, including its design, code, and features, is owned by EraX
- “EraX” name and logo are our trademarks
- You may not copy, modify, or distribute the App
Your Rights
- You own your original drawings
- You may use generated stories for personal purposes
- You may share stories with family and friends
8. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
Stories are generated using artificial intelligence. While we strive for quality:
- Content may occasionally be unexpected or imperfect
- AI may misinterpret drawing elements
- We recommend reviewing stories before reading to children
- Content safety filters are applied but are not infallible
9. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy at https://eraxapp.com/privacy for information on how we collect and use data.
10. Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING:
- Merchantability
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement
- Accuracy of generated content
We do not warrant that:
- The App will be error-free or uninterrupted
- Generated stories will meet your expectations
- The App will be compatible with all devices
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the past 12 months
- We are not liable for any content generated by the AI
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless EraX from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
- Your use of the App
- Your violation of these Terms
- Content you scan or create using the App
13. Termination
- You may stop using the App at any time
- We may terminate or suspend access for violation of these Terms
- Upon termination, your license to use the App ends
- Local data remains on your device until deleted
14. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted in the App or on our website. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
